Five Bloom Parham Partners Named to the 2027 Georgia Super Lawyers List

Bloom Parham is proud to announce that five of the firm’s partners, Simon H. Bloom, Stephen M. Parham, Kurt Kastorf, Troy R. Covington, and Andrea J. Pearson, have been selected to the 2027 Georgia Super Lawyers list.

Super Lawyers is a rating service that recognizes outstanding lawyers across more than seventy practice areas who have attained a high degree of peer recognition and professional achievement. Selections are made through a process that combines statewide peer nominations with independent research and a peer evaluation across twelve indicators of professional achievement. No more than five percent of the lawyers in a given state are named to the list in any year, and lawyers cannot nominate themselves or campaign for a spot. The recognition reflects an attorney’s standing among peers across the broader legal community, not just within their own office.

This year’s selections reflect the depth of Bloom Parham’s litigation bench, spanning complex commercial and real estate litigation, an accomplished land use practice and a growing appellate practice:

• Simon H. Bloom, Founding Partner. Simon has been named a Georgia Super Lawyer every year since 2009 and is recognized among the state’s Top 100 lawyers.
• Stephen M. Parham, Managing Partner. Steve has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyer for 13 consecutive years for his work in commercial and real estate litigation.
• Kurt Kastorf, Partner. Kurt brings a national appellate and complex litigation practice, including matters before the United States Supreme Court and every federal circuit court of appeals. Kurt was a Washington, DC Rising Star from 2013-2017, a Georgia Rising Star from 2019-2020, and has been on the Super Lawyers list each year since.
• Troy R. Covington, Partner. Troy R. Covington, Partner. Troy’s selection marks his tenth consecutive Georgia Super Lawyers selection, following six years on the Rising Stars list, reflecting his work in business and real estate litigation.
• Andrea J. Pearson, Partner. Andrea has been recognized by Georgia Super Lawyers each year since 2024 for her work in real estate litigation, with a focus on land use and zoning matters, including litigation related to rezonings, vested rights, and land use appeals for developers across Georgia.
