We embrace and encourage a spirit of generosity, rolling up our sleeves to provide the support that is critically needed to effectuate positive change in the Metro-Atlanta area.

Atlanta’s Finest 5K 2018

Team Bloom Parham was honored to sponsor and participate in the Atlanta’s Finest 5K which supports Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta, a program of the Atlanta Police Foundation that engages citizens at the grassroots level and helps take dangerous criminals off the streets.  Crime Stoppers tips have been used to solve over 1,700 metro Atlanta cases.

The Atlanta Police Foundation was established to provide vital support to the Mayor, the Chief of Police and the Atlanta Police Department.  The foundation’s mission is to make Atlanta the safest large city in the nation, and its public-private partnerships have proven to be highly effective in the prevention and reduction of crime.  Since its inception, APF has initiated many strategic programs including Crime Stoppers Greater Atlanta, Operation Shield, the At-Promise Youth Center to fight juvenile crime, Secure Neighborhoods which provides affordable in-city housing for police officers, and the Atlanta Police Leadership Institute, an elite officer training program.  To learn more about the Atlanta Police Foundation, please visit www.atlantapolicefoundation.org.

Hope+Access Breakfast Launch 2017

On November 10, 2017, Bloom Sugarman held a breakfast to celebrate the launch of Hope+Access, a new non-profit organization founded by Simon Bloom.  The mission of Hope+Access is to provide resources in times of hardship and access to education starting with the communities of two of Atlanta’s historic African-American churches, Beulah Baptist Church and Lindsay Street Baptist Church.  To learn more about Hope+Access or find out how you can become involved, please visit https://hope-access.org/.

Annual “Pig Gig”

It was a beautiful fall afternoon as more than 150 friends and their families gathered in Simon’s backyard for a “tailgate” BBQ to celebrate the Boys & Girls Clubs of Metro Atlanta (BGCMA) in that annual tradition we call the Pig Gig. Special thanks to all of the sponsors and attendees who together raised $10,000 for the BGCMA.

A Holiday Tradition

Each year during the holidays Bloom Sugarman adopts a family from the Atlanta Legal Aid Society. The firm gathers for its now annual “wrapping” party where everything is separated, wrapped and assembled for delivery.
