Stephen A. Youngblood Named to Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Commercial Litigation

Bloom Parham is proud to announce that associate Stephen A. Youngblood has been recognized in the 2027 edition of Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch® in America for Commercial Litigation in Atlanta. This is Stephen’s fifth consecutive year of recognition, having first been named to Ones to Watch in 2023.

Best Lawyers relies on a “Purely Peer Review®” process for its awards, and no attorney can nominate themselves. Instead, lawyers already recognized in a given practice area and region complete confidential evaluations of their peers, and every honoree must be confirmed in good standing with their local bar before recognition is finalized. “Ones to Watch” is reserved for attorneys earlier in their careers who are distinguishing themselves in private practice. This year’s edition, the seventh, recognized 25,052 lawyers across 79 practice areas and 198 metropolitan regions, drawing on 1.3 million peer evaluations submitted by more than 16,000 voting lawyers. Only about two percent of early-career attorneys nationwide receive the distinction, and Commercial Litigation is the largest practice area within it.

Stephen focuses his practice on complex commercial disputes, with broad experience in administrative law and regulatory matters. Before joining Bloom Parham, he was a partner in the litigation practice at Smith, Gambrell & Russell, LLP, where his work centered on defending clients in complex antitrust matters, including multi-district class action litigation and Department of Justice Antitrust Division investigations, as well as regulatory proceedings before federal and state agencies. He holds a J.D. from Duke University School of Law, where he graduated magna cum laude, and a B.A. with Honors in Philosophy from Swarthmore College. Following law school, Stephen served two years as a law clerk to the Honorable Louise W. Flanagan of the U.S. District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina.

“It means a great deal to be recognized by the lawyers I go up against and work alongside every day,” said Stephen Youngblood. “I’m grateful to my colleagues and clients for their continued trust, and I’m glad to keep building on that record here at Bloom Parham.”
