Bloom Parham Supports the Atlanta Police Foundation’s 2026 Crime Is Toast Breakfast

ATLANTA — Business, civic and law enforcement leaders filled the Georgia World Congress Center on Tuesday for the Atlanta Police Foundation’s annual Crime Is Toast breakfast, an event that has become one of the city’s most recognized tributes to the men and women of the Atlanta Police Department. Bloom Parham, LLP was proud to support this year’s breakfast, continuing partner Simon Bloom’s long-running commitment to the Foundation and its mission of making Atlanta the safest large city in the nation.

More than a thousand guests, including Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens and Atlanta Police Chief Darin Schierbaum, gathered to honor officers for acts of courage over the past year. Officer Nigel Roulhac received the Medal of Honor for rescuing a man trapped inside a burning apartment building following an explosion last November, and Officer Malik Safi was presented with the Purple Heart Award. The program also recognized officers who responded to the shooting of a DeKalb County police officer outside the CDC and highlighted the department’s work keeping this summer’s FIFA World Cup matches in Atlanta safe and incident free.

Among the morning’s presentations was the Mounted Patrol Award, recognizing an Atlanta Police Department officer for outstanding service within the department’s Mounted Patrol Unit. Simon Bloom took the stage to help present this year’s award to Officer Adrian Brinn, whose work with the unit was celebrated in front of the full breakfast audience.

“Every year, this breakfast reminds all of us what the men and women of the Atlanta Police Department do for this city. Helping present the Mounted Patrol Award to Officer Brinn was a real honor, and it is a privilege to support the Foundation’s work year after year.”
