Bloom Parham Welcomes William Gooding as Associate

Bloom Parham is pleased to announce that William Gooding has joined the firm as an Associate.  William joins Bloom Parham from a boutique business bankruptcy and restructuring law firm, where his practice centered on representing corporations in Chapter 11 bankruptcy cases, including adversarial proceedings. He also represented plaintiffs and defendants in contractual disputes and debt collection matters.

“We are excited to welcome William to the firm. His work in Chapter 11 cases and bankruptcy adversarial proceedings, combined with his training in accounting and finance, gives him a real understanding of the financial pressures behind so many business disputes. He will be a valuable resource for our clients,” said Simon Bloom.

William earned his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law. During law school, he interned for the Honorable Paul M. Baisier and the Honorable Wendy L. Hagenau of the United States Bankruptcy Court in Atlanta. He also served as Notes Editor of the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law and as Treasurer of the Student Bar Association. Prior to law school, William graduated magna cum laude with degrees in Accounting and Financial Management from Clemson University.

William is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to practice before the Georgia Court of Appeals, the United States District Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia, and the United States Bankruptcy Courts for the Northern and Middle Districts of Georgia.

“I am grateful for the opportunity to join Bloom Parham,” said William Gooding. “The firm’s lawyers are known for their trial skill and for the commitment they bring to every client’s matter.  I look forward to putting my bankruptcy and commercial litigation experience to work for our clients.”

“William is exactly the kind of lawyer we look to add to our team. He is sharp, hardworking and brings a skill set that complements our litigation practice. We expect him to make an immediate contribution for our clients,” said Stephen Parham, Managing Partner.

William’s arrival continues a year of growth for Bloom Parham, which welcomed partner Kurt Kastorf and associate Stephen Youngblood earlier in 2026. Learn more about William Gooding, or contact our team to discuss a complex business, real estate or commercial dispute.
