Atlanta real estate attorney Simon Bloom of Bloom Parham said he’s been practicing for 25 years but never seen anything like what happened in Brookhaven, Georgia—the high-end residential hot spot just across the Fulton County line into DeKalb that’s the center of a redevelopment boom.
That would be a jury ordering a city to pay money to a real estate developer for the outcome of a zoning dispute.
“It just does not happen,” Bloom told the Daily Report.
