Bloom Parham Wins Dismissal of Premises Liability Claims

Bloom Parham represents a commercial property owner in the defense of premises liability claims brought by an individual shot in the client’s property’s parking lot. Surveillance video showed the individual punched his assailant prior to being shot. Bloom Parham successfully argued on summary judgment that the individual’s voluntary decision to start an altercation barred his claims as a matter of law, and the court dismissed all claims against the property owner.
