Bloom Parham Successfully Resolves Builder’s Claims Against Municipality

Bloom Parham represents a large home builder that was developing a neighborhood of new single family homes south of Atlanta.  When the local municipality refused to permit continued development on the terms it had previously agreed, our client brought a lawsuit for wrongfully stopping development. Bloom Parham successfully obtained a court order finding that the municipality acted improperly and requiring the municipality to permit development under the terms that it had previously approved. The matter concluded with Bloom Parham obtaining a six-figure settlement from the municipality to resolve our client’s claims for takings and violation of its equal protection rights.
