Bloom Parham both sponsored and participated in the inaugural year of Filing for Freedom, a program designed to assist military members and their families with their tax filings and refunds.

In total the program had over 75 volunteers that prepared more than 150 returns and helped military families receive $130,000 in refunds. In response to COVID the program transitioned its last session to an all-virtual event which worked well for both the military families and volunteers.

Filing for Freedom has the support of many professional affiliations, including the Georgia Society of CPAs, Atlanta Bar, Georgia Bar, and the Pro Bono sections of the American Bar and Federal Bar, in addition to the IRS and Department of Defense.
