Georgia Supremes Appoint Bloom as Attorney Member to State Disciplinary Board

Bloom Parham is pleased to announce that the Supreme Court of Georgia appointed Simon H. Bloom to the State Bar of Georgia Disciplinary Board as an attorney member to serve a three-year term beginning in July of 2025. Operating through Georgia’s Office of General Counsel, the State Disciplinary Board investigates complaints alleging violations of the Georgia Rules of Professional Conduct and works to uphold standards of ethics among Georgia’s lawyers. Mr. Bloom will bring a unique perspective to the Disciplinary Board, as he has distinguished himself as a top trial attorney and dedicated public servant throughout his legal career.

He founded Bloom Parham, LLP in 2007, and has built the firm into a regional force representing clients in complex business disputes across a number of industries, while focusing on real estate litigation. Georgia Super Lawyers has listed Mr. Bloom as one of Georgia’s top 100 lawyers. Additionally, he has been designated annually as a Super Lawyer and Rising Star since 2009.

In addition to his accolades as a trial attorney, Mr. Bloom has distinguished himself through service to the state and beyond. He is a two-time appointee to the Governor’s Commission on Public Service and Volunteerism, an appointee to and chairman of the state board of the Department of Community Affairs, and a member of the Executive Committee for the Board of Trustees of the Atlanta Police Foundation.  His 25 years of service to the Boys and Girls Clubs movement culminated in his appointment to the National Board of Trustees.  Given his experience building and managing a successful law firm and his commitment to bettering the community, Bloom Parham is confident that Simon Bloom will be a welcome addition to the State Bar of Georgia Disciplinary Board.
