Bloom Parham Obtains Vested Rights for PRD Projects in Paulding

Bloom Parham represented a landowner with over 500 acres of land in Paulding County in two lawsuits alleging vested rights to exempt the properties from the application of the County’s new Planned Residential Development ordinance.  The complaints alleged that the new ordinance imposed onerous design regulations that would destroy entitled lot yields and result in sky high construction costs.  Bloom Parham negotiated a successful resolution with the County which acknowledged the properties’ vested rights and preserved the project’s ability to move forward without application of the new ordinance.

The Bloom Parham team of Simon Bloom, Andrea Pearson and Emily Molinie handled the litigation and negotiations with the County.
