Nugent and Dell’Orto Save Client From Almost all Damages in Arbitration Defense

Adam Nugent & Ben Dell’Orto concluded an arbitration on behalf of a national homebuilder in which the Plaintiff, a homeowner, sought damages and attorney’s fees arising from allegedly defective construction. Following a two-day arbitration conducted via Zoom, the arbitrator issued an order rejecting many of the claims brought by the Plaintiff and awarding approximately 10% of the damages sought by the Plaintiff. The amount of the award was actually less than the attorney’s fees incurred by the Plaintiff.
