Nugent and Barrett Obtain Favorable Settlement in Georgia Condominium Act case

Adam Nugent & Daniel Barrett obtained a favorable settlement for a condominium developer in a dispute regarding disclosure requirements under the Georgia Condominium Act. The Plaintiff, a purchaser of a condominium unit, brought a lawsuit challenging the validity of a purchase and sale agreement on the grounds that the seller did not disclose documents required by the Condominium Act. The Plaintiff sought to invalidate the purchase and sale agreement and to recover mandatory attorney’s fees in excess of $85,000. After significant discovery and motions practice, the firm received favorable rulings from the Court which paved the way for a positive resolution.
