Alex Mooring, an associate with Bloom Parham law firm in Atlanta, assists clients with construction, business, and real estate disputes.

Before joining Bloom Parham, Alex served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Marc T. Treadwell, the Honorable Hugh Lawson, and the Honorable Charles H. Weigle, Magistrate Judge, all in the U.S. District Court of the Middle District of Georgia. Over her years as a federal law clerk, Alex gained valuable experience in legal research, legal writing, and professionalism.

Alex received her J.D. from Mercer University’s School of Law, graduating cum laude with a Certificate in Advanced Legal Writing, Research, and Drafting. During law school, Alex worked as a teaching and research assistant to faculty and placed in the Final Four of the Lawson Moot Court Competition. Alex also attended Mercer University as an undergraduate. There she triple-majored in English, History, and Gender Studies and matriculated into the University of Oxford as a visiting student at Regent’s Park College.

Before attending law school, Alex spent a year as a volunteer English teacher in Northern Thailand. In her spare time, Alex enjoys travel, cooking, and time with family and friends.
