Andrei Ionescu assists clients involved in complex business, real estate, partnership, and construction disputes.

Prior to joining Bloom Parham, Andrei gained over ten years of experience across a broad range of litigation matters, including wrongful death claims, insurance and business disputes, negligent construction claims, and breach of contract claims. He has successfully represented clients in all phases of litigation and has tried numerous cases before juries and judges throughout the State of Georgia and in federal court. Andrei was selected for membership in the Joseph Henry Lumpkin Inn of Court as a Pupil in law school and as a Barrister after several years of practicing law. Since 2018, Andrei has been recognized as a Georgia Super Lawyers Rising Star.

Andrei received his J.D. from the University of Georgia School of Law, cum laude, where he was an award-winning member of the moot court and mock trial teams, served as a notes editor for the Georgia Journal of International and Comparative Law, and was inducted into the National Order of the Barristers. During his third year of law school, Andrei worked as a student prosecutor in the District Attorney’s Office for the Western Judicial Circuit, representing the State of Georgia in all aspects of felony prosecution in Athens-Clarke and Oconee Counties. He received his A.B. in Political Science and International Affairs from the University of Georgia, summa cum laude, and was inducted into Phi Beta Kappa.

Andrei is a member of the State Bar of Georgia and is admitted to appear before all trial courts in the State of Georgia; the Court of Appeals of Georgia; the Supreme Court of Georgia; the U.S. District Court for the Northern, Middle, and Southern Districts of Georgia; and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit.
