The complexities of employment law present some of the most difficult challenges in today’s business environment. Bloom Sugarman Everett’s labor and employment attorneys are highly qualified to provide employers of any size with advice and representation in all employment and labor matters. We help clients navigate through the increasing number of employment laws and court decisions, offering counsel regarding policies and compliance, and acting as advocate when an employment or labor claim does arise.
Our lawyers have extensive experience representing management in labor and employment disputes of all kinds, including claims under Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Age Discrimination in Employment Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act and various state provisions governing the employment relationship. We have represented clients in such cases in federal and state courts throughout Georgia and throughout the U.S.
We are also experienced in providing advice and counsel to human resources professionals and executive teams to help minimize the risk of employment disputes; exposing problem areas before legal issues arise. We regularly provide counsel regarding reductions-in-force, severance agreements, the establishment of internal grievance procedures and compliance with the minimum wage and overtime provisions of the Fair Labor Standards Act.
