Jacquelyn D. Smith focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation in a variety of areas including, lender liability, landlord/tenant disputes, business torts, employment litigation and trusts and estates matters.  Prior to joining Bloom Sugarman Everett, Jacquelyn was a litigation associate in the New York office of Willkie, Farr & Gallagher LLP, where her practice included commercial, securities, antitrust, bankruptcy, estate, criminal, employment, family, insurance and reinsurance litigation.  Jacquelyn has successfully represented Fortune 100 clients in federal and state court actions, mediations and arbitrations.

Jacquelyn received her Juris Doctor from New York University School of Law, where she was elected to the Moot Court Board.  She was also selected to participate in a clinic with the United States Attorneys’ Office for the Eastern District of New York.

Jacquelyn is dedicated to pro bono work and is active in the Atlanta legal community.  She is currently a member of the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers, Georgia Association of Black Women Attorneys and National Association of Women Attorneys.
